Hi, I’m Winona.
I’m a born-and-bred Singaporean creative currently based in the UK with Wieden+Kennedy London.

Winona Wee is a Senior Creative at Wieden+Kennedy London, where she’s currently partnered with André Mezzomo bringing culture-first ideas to life ⚡️. Originally from Singapore, she’s been recognised as one of the country’s most awarded creatives, with work awarded at The One Show, LIAs, Clios, D&AD, and Cannes Lions — including Singapore’s first Glass Lion.
Her work consistently centres the underrepresented: championing British Sign Language with Ford BSL Covers, bringing real-world Asian delicacies into League of Legends with #TeemoTreasureTrek, challenging nepotism with #NepoBb, and pressuring the Delhi High Court to criminalise marital rape with #PleaseArrestMe. Last year, she represented the UK and Singapore at Cannes Lions See It Be It — a global programme championing female creative leaders.
A passionate advocate for DE&I, Winona leads W+K London’s LGBTQIA+ affinity group, The Ginger Beers, and sees cultural work as creative work. She founded Sex Ed Gay, a platform circulating Queer Asian knowledge, and the South East Asian Creative Club, a network for SEA creatives.
Born into a working-class family, she believes in the transformative power of education — mentoring through Outvertising, the Kennedys, BBH Barn, and guest lecturing at King’s College London on creativity and AI.
She’s also a regular in London’s womxn skateboarding scene. And yes, she can drop in.

Creating cool experiences for League of Legends, Wild Rift & VALORANT. 🎯😈 I created a 40-minute #HotPotShowdown Taiwanese variety show to reunite gamers, championed local stores by immortalising their Lunar New Year delicacies from the real world in the game world with #TeemoTreasureTrek, empowered Southeast Asian gamers with their own League of Legends theme song through an interactive #SymphonyOfLight concert, and made a shooting game's birthday a literal blast with #ValorantBirthdayRush.
